Mini Michelangelo

This was a great project for Love Bug because we got to talk about a famous artist and a famous painting. I told him how Michelangelo had painted the Sistine Chapel ceiling while lying on his back and showed him pictures of it.

Then we did our own project where he was painting while lying on his back.

We taped up a paper beneath a kitchen chair that was low enough for him to reach while lying flat on his back. He also used his  new paint palette, so he felt like a real artist.
