New Canvas Painting

Sometimes it’s fun to change up basic art activities (like drawing with crayons or markers) simply by changing the canvas that we’re creating on.

Usually we use the same kinds of paper (sometimes easel paper from a large roll but more often just sheets from our paint or drawing pads), but recently we tried a few new ideas.

Love Bug found some pieces of tissue paper mixed in with our art supplies, and he decided to draw on that.

Meanwhile, Sweet Pea took to drawing all over the newspaper.
