Kitchen Scent Painting

This was somewhat similar to the spice painting that we did a while back, but this time instead of just using glue and the spices, I mixed the different seasonings, herbs, etc. with paint to make scented paints.

We used sage, vanilla, and peppermint oil. (There was another thing, too, though since we did this project a few weeks ago I can’t actually remember what it was….) It worked out a lot better to mix it with the paint. It just ended up really scenting the paper, especially with the peppermint oil. The kitchen smelled of peppermint all night.
