Cookie Ingredient Sensory Play

Using some of the leftovers from our food sensory board, I made this sensory bin. We had oats, coconut, and brown sugar, and the boys used measuring cups, spoons, whisks, bowls, and their little fingers to mix and play.

Love Bug said that the coconut (which he thought was cheese) was really soft. They also had fun with the brown sugar, breaking up the little clumps. And sometimes sneaking a taste or two.

I was happy that they wanted to use their hands to get that sensory experience, even putting handfuls into the measuring cup instead of scooping, too.
