Easy DIY Felt Board

The boys love playing with felt boards at the library, so when I saw this post about how to make one, I figured it was worth a try. It ended up being pretty inexpensive and easy to do.

I already had a bulletin board that I wanted to repurpose into the felt board, and I bought some flannel and felt at the craft store.

Since it was a bulletin board, it was easy to attach the flannel to the back. I just used a ton of tacks to keep it in place.

Then I cut a bunch of shapes out of the different colored felt, which sticks on to the flannel. I made some weather ones, shapes, buildings, animals, and a few other things. I hot glued googly eyes onto the animals.

I also made an ice cream set.

Love Bug really enjoyed it. He told me it was a “really neat felt board.”
