Fraction Math

I found this cute idea for felt fractions on Pinterest and made a set for us.

It was really simple – just cut four felt circles and then cut them into pieces and wrote the fractions on them with glitter glue.
Love Bug loves playing with them. He’s still a little young to fully get it, and he still usually thinks that anything broken into two pieces means two halves (or even that the 1/3 pieces are three halves), but we’ve been doing some different games with them for him. Like pretending they’re rice cakes and asking him for a half, a third, a whole one but cut in half, etc.
