Bubble wrap is fun. I found a sheet of it with our wrapping paper last summer and figured the boys would enjoy doing something with it.
First, we used it for a jumping game. When we first did it, they weren’t overly interested, but somehow the sheet of bubble wrap became a big toy over the next few weeks and then it was a lot of fun.
Then, I cut a few pieces from our bigger sheet for a painting project.
They first painted on the bubble wrap however they wanted.
Then we pressed it down on a paper and lifted up the bubble wrap to see what was underneath.
(I love the look on Sweet Pea’s face!)
Love Bug was so excited to see that it was the same on both the bubble wrap and the paper!
Another bubble wrap painting project we did a while back was taking a small pieces of bubble wrap and actually putting it around Love Bug’s hand. Then he dipped that in paint and printed down with it.
Like finger painting but totally mess-free. The only issue was that he didn’t really like having it on his hand for very long. Still, we managed to make these:
