5 Classic Snow Projects

A few of our favorite snow and winter projects from last year (when Love Bug was 2 1/2)….

1. Sprinkle Snowflake

Love Bug painted three popsicle sticks, glued them into a snowflake shape, and then decorated them with sprinkles.

2. Handprint Snowflake

Love Bug made some white handprints around the paper and then connected them into a snowflake shape.

3. Winter Mittens

I cut out two mitten shapes, and then Love Bug painted on one side and then we pressed the two together to make the design appear on both. Then we attached them with a string.

4. Cotton Ball Snowman

I drew a snowman shape on the paper and then he filled it in with cotton balls and drew on a hat, arms, and feet.

5. Winter Trees with Fingerprint Snow

He painted brown trees and then dipped his fingers in white paint for fingerprint snow to make a wintry scene.

About Kelly

I'm a stay-at-home mom to two boys and a girl. My Love Bug is 4 and has been doing art projects since just after turning 2. My Sweet Pea is 2 and tries to do everything his brother does. Little Flower is 4 months and has no idea of all the fun she has ahead of her.
