Christmas Candy Canes

I found this cute candy cane idea that seemed simple enough for both boys to do. All we needed was some cardboard, red and white paints, glue, glitter, and buttons for decorating.

I cut 2 cardboard pieces into candy canes shapes and let the boys paint them with red and white.

Once they dried, they put on some glitter and glued on buttons.

After Love Bug finished his, he said he wanted to decorate Sweet Pea’s for him. So he did some glitter, but then Sweet Pea wanted to do some too. We all did the glue together and they put on the buttons. I wasn’t sure if SP would be able to do it, but after seeing what LB was doing, he started grabbing buttons and placing them right in the glue.
