Sticky Web

This was a cute idea that I got from a Make Today Magical list on A Magical Childhood.

All it takes is some masking tape or painter’s tape and some crumbled up newspaper balls. In a doorway, I taped up the tape to make a web. Then Love Bug’s job was to throw the newspaper balls to see if he could get them to stick.

He was really excited when he saw what I’d set up.

And he had a lot of fun throwing.

He got a bunch to bounce off but only one to stick. He quickly figured out that he should aim for the parts where a bunch of pieces of tape were all together.

Then he added an orange oval to be a spider in its web.

Then he decided to throw a real ball at it. And hit it with a basketball, pulling most of it off the wall and tangling the tape together. We tried to set it back up, and then he was tossing balls over it and having fun with that.
