Shaving Cream Car Wash

We’ve done car washes before, but this was a different twist that I found from Teaching 2 and 3 Year Olds that made it a lot more fun.

The difference this time was shaving cream, which always makes things more fun.

I filled a tray with shaving cream and a container with water, and I set them side by side on a towel (with extra towels close by). I had Love Bug pick out a bunch of small cars to wash.

The boys put the cars in the shaving cream and then into the water. Sweet Pea especially enjoyed dropping the cars into the water from high up and making a big splash.

Eventually they got sponges involved, we continued to add more and more shaving cream, and Sweet Pea had fun just sticking his hands in the shaving cream and smacking his belly so the shaving cream flew all over.

About Kelly

I'm a stay-at-home mom to two boys and a girl. My Love Bug is 4 and has been doing art projects since just after turning 2. My Sweet Pea is 2 and tries to do everything his brother does. Little Flower is 4 months and has no idea of all the fun she has ahead of her.
