Adorable and Easy Halloween Ideas

I found this awesome list of 6 Halloween project ideas that I knew Love Bug would really enjoy. We’ve only done 3 of them and that’s probably all we’ll do this year, but they’ve all turned out really great and are some of my favorites (Halloween and fall projects are some of the best in general).

1. Ghost Feet

So easy and cute! I love any footprint craft really. (Like our recent fire trucks and our rainbow feet from about a year ago). We did white paint footprints on black paper, and then I made the faces. Love Bug wanted one happy and one unhappy one. We decided to give Sweet Pea one that was saying boo and one happy one.

2. Silly Spider

We used a styrofoam ball that Love Bug painted brown (since we didn’t have any black paint). We let it dry (which he was rather impatient about) and then stuck in the 8 pipe cleaner legs. I helped him glue on the googly eyes and he did the face. He was trying to make him not happy, but it came out a little silly. He loves it and put it on our bookcase as a Halloween decoration.

3. Spooky Forest

We went outside for a “stick adventure,” and then he picked his favorite sticks to glue onto a blue construction paper as trees. Then we added the googly eyes, which is always the best part. He liked using different sized eyes and having one that was just one-eyed. The one in the bottom corner is an owl.

About Kelly

I'm a stay-at-home mom to two boys and a girl. My Love Bug is 4 and has been doing art projects since just after turning 2. My Sweet Pea is 2 and tries to do everything his brother does. Little Flower is 4 months and has no idea of all the fun she has ahead of her.
