What’s Missing?

A really fun and really easy game that we do sometimes is the “What’s Missing Game.” I lay out a few small items (4-6), have him close his eyes, and take one thing away. He has to remember what it was. When he has trouble, I give him a hint like the color or the shape.

We did this the other day, and then when we picked a second set of objects, he told me that I had to close my eyes and he’d take one away. He grabbed it and ran away to hide it. I think he had more fun finding a silly place to hide it than he did with having me guess what was missing!
