Washing Seashells

We got a ton of shells when we were at the beach a few weeks ago (some are so big and awesome that they’re on display, and some I glued onto picture frames that I’m going to put beach pictures in), and we used some for a water play activity – washing shells. (I got this idea here.)

I put the shells in a bucket of soapy water, gave Love Bug some things to clean them with and a strainer, and he went to town. Sweet Pea was just playing with water.

About Kelly

I'm a stay-at-home mom to two boys and a girl. My Love Bug is 4 and has been doing art projects since just after turning 2. My Sweet Pea is 2 and tries to do everything his brother does. Little Flower is 4 months and has no idea of all the fun she has ahead of her.
