Art Playgroup: Pompom Painting

I found this awesome idea for painting with pompoms. We’d used cotton balls once, but using clothespins to hold the pompoms made it so much easier to hold and also much less messy.

We used this for an art playgroup that I hosted for Love Bug and a friend. It was really fun to see the completely different ways they went about creating art with the exact same supplies. He dipped the pompom in paint and dotted it on the paper, just making circles, while she used it more like a paintbrush and completely covered her paper.
